Which would you rather have...
a system where you direct where your moneys goes, and be able to have a vote in every level of government, and have your interests represented directly..n'

Or-
a nanny state,to be told, what, where, and how your money goes, what and how you can earn, where it gets redistributed, and a government working unto itself, for its own causes and interests,to be a sheeple without control, only government control?

Vote and discuss.

What is the difference between complete democracy and socialism?

Government control vs.citizen control.simple.

Agreedand im not saying mob rule, but responsible voting. My proposals have it,where citizens have final call and say on budgets, there would be no gridlock.people have the right to decide and control where their funds are appropriated.citizen government investment funds, each level of government run like a business, profitable for all citizen investors. I personally dont need the government taking my money, and working its own interests, look at the billions going to the middle east, out of our pockets, without our say.

People will always vote to serve their own interests and covet the treasury.

A representative republic, as it was founded, would work if government would stop overreaching its authority.

We need to evolve beyond this, and it starts with simple values within each of us,and acceptance of personal responsibility.

If Ron Paul wants to take back the Federal Reserve from the bankers who basically bribed our politicans in 1913 to give them control of it, does that make Ron Paul is a socialist?

Ok, pretend you wake up and all of the sudden you live in Afganistan. As a proud Afgan with values who accepts personal responsibility, what are you going to do about a job?

I know America isn't as bad as Afganistan, but still people can't find jobs, wages are lower than ever, and the gap between the rich and the poor has become too wide.

So you can be as responsible and hard working and as proud as you want. If there are no good paying jobs available, then you're kind of stuck with what you have, no?

Its ok though because people are waking up. All around the world we see the masses waking up and saying enough with the corruption. From Greece, France, Egypt, Syria, Wisconsin and Wallstreet. The rich have gone too far. The system is rigged. And don't be surprised when you awaken the masses and they revolt.

So while I will take care of myself, I need affordable gas, healthcare and electricity and food. And available jobs that pay well. Yes it is the governments job to regulate inudustry to make sure the economy is moving in the right direction.

Not to work for the 1% and not the rest of us.

And I don't need a party like the GOP sending 7 million jobs overseas so they could break unions and lower wages. I'll take personal responsibility for myself, but I think one thing I also need to do is campaign as hard as I can to throw out the anti middle class GOP party this come November.

The fact that bankers may have wanted it doesn't make the federal reserve a capitalist institution. What businessmen want is socialism for themselves, but capitalism for everyone else.

As long as it is a constitutional republic as ours was founded I am good with it. If it is a democracy by mob rule I am not for it.
Jefferson termed it "pure" democracy. I want what the US HAS: a Constitutional Republic with democratic representation.
