They don't have the brains to get good jobs on merit so i suspect their welfare rate would jump from 35% to 95%!!! Skeptics might say that before AA came along most blacks were not on welfare, but that's because welfare 50 years ago was not as high-paying as it is now. Used to be welfare meant just enough to live on, now it gives you a comfortable lower middle-class existence.

So ending AA must be combined with a big reduction in welfare availability.

Yes, forced to compete on the merits, blacks would sink to abysmally low levels in all areas of life. They'd be upset and crime and rioting would go up. Sure sucks to live with them: you either suffer their violence, or buy them off with welfare and AA.

The two greatest threats facing modern civilization are
1# The intelligence gap(non-whites)
2# Islam

Both of these could destroy all we have done.

what have you done but fighting two wars,by your greed put this country in two recessions, will probably go into depression. All because we have a two term Black president.By the way AA wont hurt Blacks and non whites,we are getting along just fine.Your people are the ignorant ones crying the blues all the damn time. Non-whites not acting like you huh?

I live among them and they are wonderful people, they work every day, have two parents running the household.Their children graduate from High school and go onto college. Whats wrong matt you jealous cause that Black got the promotion and you didn't?

It could easily be that blacks would benefit from an end to 'affirmative action'.

For one, it would end a lot of interpersonal hostility in the work place when everyone knew an individual was hired or promoted just for who they were.

At the same time, superiors might actually increase hiring and promotion above whatever 'minimum' quota might exist at some level of administration.

'Positive discrimination' may have been a poor yet necessary solution to the next step to ending racism (a continuing mis-concept that embarrasses our kind).
What else would have been as effective?

End AA and whites will suffer too.No more food stamps,no more welfare for whites.See how you whites put your foot into your mouths. You say Blacks are stupid, well you should look into that mirror and you will see the real stupid ones.

What percentage of Blacks benefit from AA?

AA was never necessary and it was never about ending racism since it was also granted to women. AA was all about persecuting white males. It is a hate crime pure and simple.

The OP could use some ‘affirmative action’ with regard to his racism and ignorance.

Affirmative action is rarely used, it’s required only of the public sector, not required for the private sector, and benefits all minorities, not just blacks.

And American business loves affirmative action:

Big business sides with Obama on affirmative action case before high court

More than 50 large corporations, which spend most of their political donations on Republican candidates, have sided with President Obama on an affirmative action case pending before the Supreme Court.

The companies, which include American Express, Pfizer, Wal-Mart, Halliburton, Intel, Kraft Foods and General Electric, say they “seek to hire the most qualified group of employees, while taking into account all of the characteristics of those employees that will enrich [their] workplaces and strengthen their businesses.”

Your claim that Affirmative Action does not apply to the private sector is wrong. Don't ask for a link because I expect everyone to know this stuff. I will tell you that if you Google "affirmative action in the private sector" you will find over 2,000,000 sites. Your claim that Affirmative Action is seldom used makes me wonder if you know anything at all about the subject.

The United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit ruled, 8 to 7, on Thursday that Michigan’s voter-approved 2006 ban on affirmative action was unconstitutional.

hold onto your hats! its going to be a bumpy 4 years.
