So teh Democrats look to have suffered a major defeat. Almost everyone who supported Obamacare and the stimulus lost. The one Republican who lost to a Dem in the House was Joseph Cao, who not coincidentally was also the only Republican to vote for Obamacare. So what will they do: 1) Blame everyone else and stay the course. 2) Make a major reshuffling of personnel and priorities to reflect better the centrist mood of the country. My money is on 1). The GOP faced this exact thing in '06. I said then that if they didnt take those results seriously and do a major house cleaning they could kiss 2008 good bye. They didnt And they did. Now the Dems are in the same boat.
