In my opinion, yes, it's very possible.

With the total lack of concern about the debt and the amount of ammo and arms our government has purchased I say it's in the making.
Of course bums like fakey aren't concerned because they have nothing to lose.

The difference is that, unlike Greece, we print our own money. Savings accounts won't be confiscated; the dollar will be devalued either officially or by inflation. However, people with these assets will be punished by reduced SS benefits and higher MediCare premiums.
