What should the Sandy Hook Elementary do now?

Sandy Hook shooting investigators talk to child survivors

'It's too early to say when the school will reopen and whether the two rooms where the slayings took place will ever hold classes again.'

I think I heard that the school will not open on Monday and perhaps the students will be housed in another facility for the rest of the week.

I suppose there is some wisdom in trying to provide 'normalcy'/routine.

I personally don't see how they could do more than offer grief counseling but maybe that is what should be done.


I just cannot imagine a full day/week of focusing on the tragedy. Nor can I imagine students returning and focusing on academics.

The show must go on some how, but to me, no one should have to go into them two classrooms anymore if they don't want to. They could be memorial rooms for those who were shot in them.
