What republicans need to do next- FIGHT!!!

The Catholics and Protestants did that to themselves all the time during the Reformation and Counter-Reformation. Heck, we watched the Dems do that this term. The Tea Party offers a true challenge to the lock step embrace of the Republicans for action and cause. Traditionally the minority party of the 20th century, the GOP has had to close ranks. The Tea Party threatens that internal unity.

The next two years will be simple for Republicans. Offer up some serious budget cuts and a repeal of Obamacare. The Democrats and PResident can block those efforts and then the Republicans can claim obstructionist by the Dems. The economy will right itself some more and the Republicans can lay claim to that.

It was actually a blessing that the Seante remained in Democratic control.

I think you have drawn the battle lines exactly. Both sides will accuse each other of 'obstructionism' (the Dems are trying to break the economy, the Pubs want to give your money to the corporations), and if the economy picks up some - it won't, by the way - both parties will claim credit.

I don't see Obama compromising, he is a socialist idealogue.

The republicans need to show the clear choice between ideologies.

Let Obama veto and stop the government.

Republicans should not compromise on the core principles.
