What problems face America today?

Now? Look up "Statism"?

statism [ˈsteɪtɪzəm]
n (Government, Politics & Diplomacy) the theory or practice of concentrating economic and political power in the state, resulting in a weak position for the individual or community with respect to the government

Interesting. Let's contrast

'Communism is a sociopolitical movement that aims for a classless and stateless society... '

Socialism is a stage of development, like capitalism and communism. It also refers to any of a number of systems to arise during this stage, marked by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.

Let us contrast indeed...*BOTH* deny the individual which flies in the face of our Republican form of Governance, and what the Founders set out to lay the groundwork for...

WE see what it has become, and the intent of those in power to force it to become from 1913 on...

What problems face America today?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

List the top five, then offer a somewhat comprehensive solution. Leave the cliches, glib comments and ad hominems out. If you have nothing to offer, don't post.

I suppose having nothing to offer limits the echo chamber to cliches, glib comments and ad hominems. Notice Willow Tree hyjacked the thread in post #2 as usual she has nothing to offer but insipid and partisan idiotgrams. Take that as a personal attack WT which of course it is as well as a clear example of most of your posts.

Eric Berne wrote about people like you in Games People Play and you WT are the classic "Persecutor", defined as "Lastly, the Persecutor. He or she dismisses the capacity of others to think, feel or act on their own behalf. The Persecutor has a hidden agenda of punishing or belittling people in some way. Like the Rescuer, he or she comes from a one-up position.

Liberalism! and DumbAsses.

The U.S.A. was founded on Liberalism, genius. The FF loved to spew Locke.

We gots too many takers now and not enough givers and youse idiots want to tax the rich.. that's all ya got?

And they can TAKE all the givers HAVE and it wouldn't RUN the gubmint for all of 6 to 8 months...so when that runs out? WHERE are they gonna get the money afterward...or do they portend to run a Slave State?:eusa_whistle: ;)

:eusa_shhh:

Close all foreign military bases and bring all troops home.

All the money for infrastructure and the money our troops spend overseas will be spent in our country. All that money would be injected into our economy instead of leaving the country.

It would be a huge "stimulus package" that would cost us no extra money.

Get back to a Constitutional form of government
.

We are currently functioning under a ‘Constitutional form of government.’ Please expand and elaborate as to why you think we’re not.

Although I applaud the OP’s efforts to manifest a rational discourse, this thread is indicative as to why that’s problematic. We won’t be able to move on to addressing actual problems such as debt, jobs, and energy until everyone agrees to the ground rules:

1. This is a Constitutional Republic whose citizens are subject only to the rule of law.
2. It is incumbent upon the legislative branch – not the executive – to address the problem we face.
3. Solutions must be realized in a non-partisan manner, they must be based on facts, not political doctrine and dogma.

Until we as a nation can agree on the above, any further effort to address our problems is pointless.

Class warfare is just one of the stupid phrases they lap up like pablum.

How I wish the facts mattered as much to all Americans.

Its so easy to just throw these phrases arround like they really mean something.

They are planted in your brains and encompass the majority of your thought process.

When if ever will they be willing to challenge their masters??

Like your claims that Republicans lie 100% of the time...?

Plz just fucking forget how to turn on your monitor and spare us from, from just you...

No it was founded on Republicanism.

Constitution of the United States of America

Article IV.
Section 4

The United States shall guarantee to every State in ths Union a Republican Form of Government.
Not a Progressive Socialist form of Government.

We have a Government that has taken over states rights and used the general welfare clause to expand itself into larger and larger government. Our Constitution tells exactly what the government's role is and if we got back to a smaller government like it should be
we would not be almost 15 trillion dollars in debt.
We now have Departments making laws, as well as Court Judges and Executive power is over riding Legislative power and courts are making decisions over riding the majority of voters in the states.
That is not our Constitution, it is government out of control.

1) Illegal immigration: It affects HC/Job/Economy/Education and has helped create some of the most violent gangs in America. The loss of tens of thousands of Americans lives through crime and simple accidents is inexcusable. There is not a study out there that supports a single positive to illegal immigration as home prices reached historic highs during peek illegal immigration and food has never comes down and is rising today despite illegal immigration.

Solution: Crack down on people that employee Illegal’s, no other changes to immigration police are needed until years down the line if there is a need for migrant workers. Heavy fines and loss of license would be all that is needed. No busses or kicking in doors rounding up illegals. Also children born in America are not citizens as the constitution is clear are saying they are not. It creates one of the most basic and moronic problems if the constitution is “interoperated” the way it is today, “shocking.”

2)The Wars. The wars are pointless and in 10 years have produced literally nothing. Past pride or support for the military and Troops the Wars have costs us more than was takes in lives and Trillions of dollars while weakening our nation’s moral at home and abroad.

Fix: Pull out… Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Look at closing bases around the world as we would not like the idea of every nation having a base put all over in our country.

3)Deficit spending. Deficit spending has created entitlement programs that have bankrupted our country for the foreseeable future. The idea is to “buy votes” with unconstitutional programs that fail only to be expanded upon in hopes of not losing votes that has been created by this belief of dependency.

Fix: Don’t raise the debt ceiling and balance the budget ASAP. End wars and figure way of ending programs like Medicare/Medicaid/SS and welfare quickly for younger people and phase out the generations that have paid into them before the programs reach the point where no one gets anything after paying into them their whole lives.

4) Bail outs and Stimulus. Bail-outs and stimulus have benefited the rich more than any other class of people in America. Rich people’s gamble and loss was dumped on the tax payer when that was there very moment in “free markets” that people should have been able to seize opportunity, work hard and invest and produce something “better.” This correct was not allowed to happen and now we suffer the very basic consequences of not taking that evolutionary step, we are stuck in the past with a failing product.

Fix: No more bail-outs and Stimulus. We leave good innovation and positive creativity up to the people that can best produce good ideas… The people at large, not selective groups of companies supported by the Government.

5)Watch what happens, evolve and learn as we go. Realize that human nature supersedes all rules and regulations, so embrace man’s natural desire to create AND have (buy/make) the best product for the least cost. If man were complacent with bad ideas and a shitty product we would have been wiped off the planet by default.

We should covertly instigate a hot war between china and the other asian tigers and the mideast and europe. With the destruction of industrial capacity, the us will rise once more into the manufacturing fray.
