Or the contrary. We may find that all other alien life has rejected the notion of a supreme being as an infantile concept and may shun mankind for that reason. Who knows, our religious convictions or lack thereof may start an intergalactic war that dooms mankind. It is highly unlikely though that if alien life did believe in a supreme being, that their supreme being would be anything like a particular religion (Christianity for example).
