What PolitiFact READERS think is the biggest lie of the year

I have a great deal of respect for PolitiFact, so I will not try and argue against their lie of the year.

However, what's interesting is what the users think. PolitiFact took a poll of what users think was the biggest lie of the year. Here are the results:

Most of the respondants agree that the biggest lie of the year is:

"The economic stimulus created "zero jobs." -- The National Republican Senatorial Committee and other Republicans"

What is also telling is that the other big responses were lies coming from Republican candidates.

We need the Bush tax cuts to end. We need to tax Medicare benefits. We need to put limits on Medicare like real insurance (max lifetime benefit), etc.

There are lots of ways to save Medicare & SS, the Debt Commission, Simpson-Bowles, etc.

Congress needs to stop whining and get busy, or they will get fired in November.
