Just curious, it seems to be a touchy subject that gets a lot of play on these boards but nobody has the balls to openly discuss it through its own post.

I was just listening to our national radio broadcaster, my favourite morning current affairs programme is being broadcast right now from Cincinatti. It's all about the election of course. Just a moment ago one of the presenters just made the point that it wasn't that long ago that the US had racial separatism in some states. And in 2008 here is a bi-racial man who may become president in January 2009. Sounds like progress to me.

what pisses me off about the race card? the whole thing. from the duke rapes to the newsome murder...its all about race...while one case of white on black is being blown up in the media...another crime black on white is being hidden. why do blacks follows the likes of jesse jackson or al sharpton? do they not see these men are nothing but self serving parasites? there is racism there will always be racism but it does not help when blacks have this poor me attitude...that we owe them...i am willing to pay reparations on one condition that is it...no more after that...no matter what happens...it would actually save us money in the long run. but then you have to deal with this fact...not all blacks are descendants of slaves...many are blacks who came to this country freely....wanting too..how you gonna separate that...or do you just get the money cause you are black? when are blacks gonna deal with their lack of drive and morals?
why are successful blacks mocked as white or being white like? why do blacks fear normal success? the only boot on the throats of blacks is the one worn by the likes of jackson and sharpton.

With a very few vile exceptions on the board, the most racist comments I've seen or heard have come from the left about those that don't agree with them. There is no possibility that it's the man's ideas that are disagreed with, you know, treating him like an equal? Instead it's all racism.

Hell, they're even saying that socialist is synonymous with ******, give me a freaking break. I have called Terkel and Alinski socialist, both of which were white guys and would have worn the label proudly. Last I check so were Marx and Lenin and Castro.

It'd be a lot cheaper than that $700 billion (or is it trillion) bailout that our government passed, and the bailout most likely wouldn't be needed if those people weren't here in the first place.

More lies...

What racist comments have you seen from the left on this board?

Question: Why are these people so comfortable making overt racist comments and gestures and conservative/McCain/Palin rallies? I've never been at any public venue in my life where I would feel comfortable (assuming I even wanted to) making racist gestures and comments.

Oh Puleeeze. Have you ever been a lone white girl stopping for directions in the South Bronx? You want to hear racist gestures and comments?

How embarrassing for you.

I posted appalling racist behaviour at McCain/Palin rallies, and at the nations largest conservative convention/

And you come back with this south bronx shit?

Was that a Democratic rally in "the south bronx"?

No, it wasn't. If you have some actual youtube video, and some actual visual proof of racist behaviour at Obama Rallies, please post it.

Otherwise, STFU.

What board are you looking at? Race is all over this board like white on rice.

I know thats why I wrote this in my post "seems to be a touchy subject that gets a lot of play on these boards" I just wanted to let everyone have at it in one post as there seems to be a lot of frustration.

It's kind of sad when the best you can compare the McCain rally to is the South Bronx being a "lone white girl".

Doesn't that speak volumes about the McCain rallies?

Take a look at this:

http://www.usmessageboard.com/elections-2008/63075-come-on-mccain-let-your-supporters-speak.html

and you're point is?

(by the way, Do I look like a McCain supporter to you?)

You show me some racist at a rally.....and you think there are no racist of other color but white in the world? There are racist everywhere. By posting what you did, you know damned well what you are trying to do....paint with a broad brush that all McCain supporters are racist.

Red Dawn

Sandra Bernhard calls for the rape of Palin by her big black brothers—racist
It has video of Bernhard calling Palin "Uncle Women," a "turncoat b—h" and a "whore." .When Sandra warns Sarah Palin not to come into Manhattan lest she get gang-raped by some of Sandra’s big black brothers.

Displays sexism and racism-- no different.

Anyway onto the OP's question:

GigiBowman said it best IMO:

Playing the Race card is the same thing as fear mongering.

it's all "tactic"
