We have all seen and laughed at Nancy Pelosi's last statement where she gloated in regards to what a wonderful/successful Speaker/Lawmaker she has been since the days of Abraham Lincoln.
And, how many of us had just wished that she would of brought up President Bush in her short speech of how perfect of a human being she has been during her long career as a politician.
That would of been the icing on the cake,,,if only Miss Pelosi would of brought up how President Bush, even though they are on opposite ends of the isle,,still thinks the world of her.

But her continued ability to lead the Democratic Party is questionable. Her party continues to lose winnable seats in the House. In spite of throwing millions at targeted elections...she continues to lose

Well, we have a staggering contradiction here. OTOH we have lots of people here telling us that the special elections were no big deal, they were a minor event that were heavily in the GOP's favor such as Georgia anyway as it was a Red State. Indeed, the Dems were touted as highly successful! These were actually a win for the Dems because previous elections like Price had an overwhelming majority of 20 points! So the Dems were doing a GOOD JOB and had moved the indicator from 20 points to just a few.

Now we have people calling Nancy the greatest speaker of a generation, a great legislator and a fabulous campaigner for donations. Now all of that might be true, at least for the democratic party, and you need a good speaker and you certainly need someone who can raise the bucks. And they needed a lot of bucks this last time around.

So why then a day later do we have all of the party calling for her resignation? If the Dems were doing so good and she is so important, why all the people asking her to resign? Moot point anyway since it doesn't look like she is going anywhere.
