What languages are best to learn ?

Hindustani, Urdu, Punjabi, or Arabic. All are widely spoken and will (obviously) come in handy if you travel in their corresponding regions.

that's the wrong side of war on terror to be on.

i would rather learn Hebrew :)

I plan on getting around to doing that... it's just that it has so few speakers and most of them are in a country I can't travel to.

I already know Russian ( my 1st language ) and English.

I recently started studying German, Spanish and Chinese

What languages do you think are best to learn ?

Do you think it would be useful to know Hebrew, French or Japanese ?

Something far less exotic than some of the thinking here but for someone going into the construction field like "construction management" or with a large corporate "home building company" I'd suggest Mexican-Spanish. It should be taken starting in high school. That person would certainly have a leg up in the field, first with getting the job, being preferred over someone without the skill; later on the job, by being able to understand that language they could prevent many of the false starts and delays that will otherwise occur.
