On a hill
Challenge - listen to a radio broadcast of "Mr. Daisy and the Apple".
Surreal.
In the worlds largest factory (in China of course)...to keep prices down on our cool electronics we buy at the lowest price possibe - things are so bad for employees that on the massive apartment complexes officials installed giant steel nets on the perimeter of the buildings to catch bodies from the all too often suicides.

yeah.

So do you want to make capitalism illegal so 65 million more Chinese will starve to death?

Yes life is tough there but nothing like it was when 10's of millions were slowing starving to death under liberal communism.

Just like we helped the Africans by dragging them from their homes to work the cottonfields in the South and eventually after a few centuries of slavery become American citizens, we're also doing the Chinese peasants a huge favor by having them produce our gizmos in sweatshops so we can have the latest and greatest at bargain basement prices.

Are we a magnanimous people or what.

Okay - so I'm not doubting that there are suicides in Chinese factories and I'm not doubting that people install nets (on bridges for instance) to discourage suicide and I'm not doubting that they call those things in that picture "suicide nets".

I still have to doubt that they were installed to prevent suicides. One, it would long term easier to simply install a pointy curled fence at the top like they do at the Empire State Building, or simply not let the employees go to the roof.

Two, if I were installing a net to discourage people from committing suicide from the ledge of a 10 story building, I would install it on the 9th story, near the jumper like they do with the Golden Gate Bridge. I wouldn't install it so near the ground. With a net installed so near the ground, I get the impression that it's to catch debris that might fall from any floor - perhaps there's window maitenance going on.... or in some other pictures it appears that the net might be designed to catch birds that would otherwise fall into the HVAC at ground level.

The "Foxconn suicide nets" are well known and documented.

we're also doing the Chinese peasants a huge favor by having them produce our gizmos in sweatshops so we can have the latest and greatest at bargain basement prices.

Are we a magnanimous people or what.

They do it voluntarily because it improves their standard of living. The wages and conditions are wonderful compared to what they were under liberal communism when 65 million slowly starved to death.

Today they buy more cars than we do. Its a another huge huge triumph for Republican capitalism.

Yeah, the workers are so happy they're jumping with joy.

I guess that would explain the nets around the dormitories.

a few killing themselves is nothing compared to 10's of millions slowly starving to death.

It is truly something to behold!!! A liberal will actually lack the intelligence to understand that.

And a conservative doesn't give a fuck about anything except his cheap gizmos.

And it is a triump for the pubs as communist china works to beat out the US for the number one spot. Truth is, the pubs love communists. They just act like they don't like socialism or communism. The proof is in the pudding. If not for the Pubs, we would not be building up an enemy with american dollars.

So when did communism become no longer an enemy to our form of gov't? Well, it just took some special interests making more wealth over in china. Money will change enemies into friends.

Oh, there are some dems too who love communists. But we already knew those far lefties were loons, so we paid no mind, no more than one would pay mind to a local village idiot.

if you have any evidence of that I'll pay you $10,000.

Lets not forget it is liberals that drove the jobs overseas

1) Make unions illegal ( 10 million new jobs) Democrats oppose

2) make minimum wage illegal ( 5 million new jobs) Democrats oppose

3) end business taxation; especially tax incentives to off-shore jobs ( 5 million new jobs) Democrats oppose

4) make inflation illegal ( 2 million new jobs) Democrats oppose

5) make Federal debt illegal( 2 million new jobs) Democrats oppose

6) send illegal workers home(8 million new jobs) Democrats oppose

7) Pass Balanced Budget Amendment to Constitution( 3 million new jobs) Democrats oppose

8) cut pay of government workers in half( 4 million new jobs) Democrats oppose

9) Make health insurance competition legal( 6 million new jobs) Democrats oppose

10) end needless business regulations ( 2 million new jobs) Democrats oppose

11) restrict Federal spending to 15% of GNP( 2 million new jobs) Democrats oppose

12) support unlimited free trade( 2 million new jobs) Democrats oppose

13) reduced unemployment compensation, welfare, food stamps, medicaid.( 2 million new jobs) Democrats oppose

14) privatize education, social security ( 4 million new jobs) Democrats oppose

15) end payroll taxes ( 1 million new jobs) Democrats oppose

Since Democrats always oppose wisdom and common sense the only serious option is to make them illegal as the Constitution intended.
