With spring peeking around the corner, it's time to sharpen your mower blades , till your gardens and all the other fun stuff we do to prepare for summer. And it also means storm season is here as we recently witnessed in Alabama where tornadoes ripped through killing 23 with dozens still reported missing.

Jim Cantore heads to Virginia Tech where he steps into a wind tunnel. After taking on winds of Tropical Storm strength, he continues the climb through Hurricane force winds... and breaks a record.

Living in Florida I've been through quite a few hurricanes. I'm fascinated by extreme weather. I'm kind of a maniac and will go outside during the storms just for the experience.

The fastest I've ever experienced was around 90,when I was young and dumb.
Went out back on the leeward side and about lost my fingers going back into the house from the suction pulling the door shut.
