What is the "Real Unemployment Rate"

dear, U6 today after 5 years under Obama is about double what it was before the recession. This is a huge huge epic fail for liberalism much like FDR's Great Depression was another huge huge epic fail for liberalism.
The U-6 is currently 13.9. The lowest it was in 2007 was 8.0 which is way more than about half. The only time ever that the U-6 was in the 6.9, 7.o range was in 2000.

dear U6 after 5 years of Obama's idiotic liberalism is unimaginably high by historic standards just as it was unimaginably high after ten years of FDR's idiotic liberalism.
The U-6 wasn't't a measure until 1994 (there was a different measure called U-6 from 1974 til 1993 so you're just imagining what it would have been. And since the simple UE rate was in the 20's, during the depression, the 17.1% U-6 under Obama is hardly unimaginable.

Quibbling or distracting over the exact numbers shows a lack of character about facing the truth of Obama and liberalism
Correcting grossly wrong information is not quibbling. You showed complete disregard for the truth.

It's only a mere 15% exageration. Heck, thats the tip Edward gives thd watress, and he knows she's way underpaid so 15% isn't that much. I'm sure he doesn't mind a 15% increase in taxes. Heck, why quibble over a 15% increase in prices?

Besides, it is a 15% increase in a percentge, whats that anyways. I'm sure edward has no problem when his credit card rate increases from 17.5% to 20.13%. No big deal.

what's a big deal is Obama's U6 numbers. They show an increase from 8 to 14% or about 6 million additional people and that does not include the millions he took out of the work force with disability, medicaid, food stamps, welfare, and other crippling and liberal welfare programs.

Liberalism has been an epic fail as was FDR's liberalism!

One economist estimated that had U6 been around during The Depression, it would have peaked at 44% under the Republican Hoover.

Most importantly, Hoover was a Republican, but not a conservative. Besides, that was long before Friedman so its hard to hold him responsible for much since no one knew much then.

You should know better than to try for such a cheap shot! Better luck next time.
