No clear plan yet on how to reunite parents with children
I keep hearing people complaining about how there is no policy for returning kids back to their parents once we have separated them. Does it even matter? The main point is to send a message to other criminals that if they continue to bring their kids with them to sneak into our country --- we will take their kids, period.
Furthermore, this policy is to protect kids from child sex traffickers -- and since it is safe to say 90% of the kids being taken are victims of child sex trafficking -- why should we return those kids back to their parents at all? How do we even know those are their parents -- and even if they are their parents, why return kids back to child sex traffickers?
Obama may have been ok with not separating kids from their child sex trafficking parents -- but Trump finally put his foot down and is now protecting those kids from harm.
