Islam is a very strange religion to me. I'm curious about the goals of Islam multiple contexts. For example, what is the goal in the transformation of the individual? What is the ultimate goal of the religion for the world? Does Islam have inherit political/legal goals? Is Jihad ultimately a goal of Islam?
Who can tell me?

Islam is not a Religion. It is a political cult, in the guise of a religion.

It's goal is global domination. It's method is deceit and fraudulence, death and destruction, advanced as means to influence the ignorant and cow the timid.

Now... to give you an idea of how well it works let's look at this:

Green shows locations of Timid Ignorance... Red indicates Principled Courage.

In short, Islam, like its cousin socialism, is the embodiment of pure, unadulterated Evil.

In short order you can add Britain, France and Germany, along with Scandinavia.

Where do you want them to live. they have always lived there, and because suddenly Zionist thought Israel was theirs, so what, if they chose to move there that is their problem, let alone stealing land and killing the ones living there , and we thought the Jews were smart, not very smart after all.

Again... The GREEN is ISLAM... 20+ MILLION OF SQUARE MILES. MOST of which is empty and NONE OF which could POSSIBLY be worse than 'Palestinian' occupied territory...

The Red is Isreal... OKA: 8,019 square miles

Your argument is something well beyond specious.

I see that and so what. Most of it is not empty, but full of people . You can't possibly expect the Pals to just up and leave the land they have lived on for centuries , do you?

In thinking about the above map, its a miracle Israel is still there in the mist of all those Muslim killers attacking it all the time. Amazing. Must be Yahweh is stronger than Allah.

Greetings, Mr. Pollins,

...I'm not a Muslim but I have studied the religion and a nice place to begin I would say is that the Prophet of the "Muslim world" Muhammad prophesied that his community would deviate from true Islam (according to my sources.)

The current "Muslim world" is not a true representation of Islam, which is just an Arabic word that means "Peace" & "entire submission of one's will to do the Will of God."

I don't know what the goals of the so-called "Muslim world" are, but again they are not a representation of true Islam as they are divided and sectarian, both of which are forbidden for Muslims by the Qur'an (the Book of Scripture of Islam) (see Qur'an 3:103, 3:105, 30:31-32.)

The goal of true Islam is just to bring Peace to the individual and the community through entire submission to the Will of God (by Whom I mean "the God of Abraham.")

Peace and may God Bless you.

Goal was to establish a distinctly arab religion at a time Christianity was spreading like wildfire throughout the arab world.

The objective of Islam is to guide one to reach the honor of becoming a servant of God Almighty, and God Almighty is above any for of humanness.

A Hadith

Abd Allah ibn Salam (Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him, his family, and companions) said, “O people! Spread the salams, feed others, maintain family ties, and pray at night when others sleep and you will enter Heaven safely.” [Tirmidhi, Hakim]

Right wingers' ignorance of Islam is expected......But some of them may be genuinely (if silently) surprised that Islam also recognizes Abraham, Moses AND Jesus as prophets.
You know nothing of Islam. I know more about it than most Muslims do. Their stated goal is to convert or kill everyone. This is a fact.
Nat 4900 is right. Muslims follow the Old Testament, just as Jews do...all are People of the Book, including Christians. They differ with Christians when it comes to Jesus being the Son of God.
The Koran speaks of Jesus' Mother, Mary, often and have respect for her.
Respect for Mary? A woman. Lol. Thanks for the laugh.
Mary (Arabic: مريم‎ Maryām), the mother ofJesus (Isa), is considered one of the most righteous women in the Islamic religion. She is mentioned more in the Quran[2]than in the entire New Testament and is also the only woman mentioned by name in the Quran.[3] According to the Quran, Jesus was born miraculously by the will ofGod without a father. His mother is regarded as a chaste and virtuous woman and is said to have been a virgin. The Quran states clearly that Jesus was the result of a virgin birth, but that neither Mary nor her son were divine. In the Quran, no other woman is given more attention than Mary and the Quran states that Mary was chosen above all women:

Behold! the angels said: "O Mary!Allah hath chosen thee and purified thee – chosen thee above the women of all nations.

—Quran, sura 3 (Al Imran),ayah 42[4]
Mary in Islam - Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

I am not convinced that the Qur'an speaks of the Virgin Birth with specificity and clarity. The Qur'an is clear on one thing: Jesus is not the son of God. Regarding the conception of Jesus, here is what the Qur'an says (M.H. Shakir Translation, verse numbers removed for easier reading):

“And mention Marium in the Book when she drew aside from her family to an eastern place; So she took a veil (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our spirit, and there appeared to her a well-made man. She said: Surely I fly for refuge from you to the Beneficent God, if you are one guarding (against evil). He said: I am only a messenger of your Lord: That I will give you a pure boy. She said: When shall I have a boy and no mortal has yet touched me, nor have I been unchaste? He said: Even so; your Lord says: It is easy to Me: and that We may make him a sign to men and a mercy from Us, and it is a matter which has been decreed. So she conceived him; then withdrew herself with him to a remote place” (Marium, Sura 19:16-22, highlights my own).

The above scripture has been interpreted by some to mean that the father of Jesus was a man, a man sent by God but a man none the less. I can only opine – based upon my rather limited knowledge of the Qur'an - that such an interpretation is not unreasonable. I will yield to the the Islamic scholars on this site for a more thorough analysis of the birth of Jesus.
