What is so dangerous about Ben Shapiro?

Being polite and accommodating while trolling is one of the best trolling methods

That is probably one of the dumbest statements I have read. Being accommodating in a debate is not trolling, what YOU do however, is trolling. Making unsupportable statements and pretending they are correct.
Interesting comment. I would appreciate further elaboration. You say pretending unsupportable comments are correct?

Could you just skip to what specific comments Ben Shapiro has said on a routine basis, that you would consider "trolling"? I need some context.

Give him a half hour so he can look it up on the interwebz.

Here's your further elaboration...you're a lying POS pretending to know about Shapiro.
.
Oh my. Well look I'm just trying to learn here. Where does this animosity come from?

You summons it up.
See this is why conservative are so difficult to have a conversation with. Just immediate animosity because they can't win on the issues.

You haven't provided an issue, to have a conversation about yet.

You claimed that Ben Shapiro was trolling people. You have provided no evidence to support that statement.

So.... you have been more of a troll in this thread, than Ben has in his speeches... at least thus far.

And you are getting back to you, the trolling you have dished out, and now are complaining about it.

You are not only trolling, but are hypocritical, and whiny about it. There is no issue or topic, to have a rational discussion about. It is just you being a troll, and complaining we are giving you back insults for your trolling. How about you man up first, and act like an adult. Then I know for my part, I will treat you like an adult.

Or we can just keep calling you out. Whichever.

The following statement was issued by a group at The Ohio State University in advance of Shapiro's speech on campus.

Excerpts from Huffington Post:

“Shapiro’s rhetoric has the potential to threaten the emotional and mental safety of much of the campus community. If you do not feel comfortable around a climate that will be created by Ben Shapiro’s presence, we encourage you to seek a safe environment for yourself,” read the message from the program, which provides merit-based scholarships for students engaged in diversity-focused activities.

“Knowing the hostile environment that can result from these kinds of events, we encourage you to seek an inclusive environment and reach out to talk with someone. If you do not have a safe space or prefer not to be alone, please feel free to join other Morrill Scholars and our staff on the MSP learning community on the third floor of Blackburn House tonight from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thank you and stay safe,” it continued.

Without these trolling publicity stunts Shapiro wouldn’t have a career. Rachel Maddow should sign up to speak at Liberty University to talk about how shitty everybody there is. I wonder how they’d react.

So..... have you ever listened to a speech by Shapiro? He is without question, one of the most polite and accommodating pundits that exists.

If you talking about Milo Yiannopoulos, then I would be on your side, agreeing with everything you said. Milo is openly hostile and insulting.

Ben is practically the exact opposite of Milo. Calling him a troll, makes me wonder if you even know who we are talking about.
No need to wonder. He has no clue what he is talking about

Huh? He’s had a career since he’s been like 18, and has been speaking on campuses for way longer than the crazy protests started a few years ago. A speaker coming to campus isn’t trolling, I’ve heard plenty of speakers on campus for a wide variety of topics, including politics...So now that the left has lost its shit, Shapiro, doing what Shapiro has been doing for quite some time, is now trolling??? What’s so crazy about what Shapiro says, he’s for legalizing bud, gay marriage, he’s a very prominent critic of trump on the right...just because he thinks socialism and identity politics is stupid, people are damaged emotionally and mentally by that? Y’all really need to reconsider your lives if a 5ft orthodox Jew giving a speech is “dangerous” to you. Or if you consider his presence trolling.

Dear SassyIrishLass
Let's have compassion for those without the
sense of self that others have.

Wouldn't you be traumatized all over again?

if you were struggling with transgender issues,
and received a verbal slap in the face that your
identity doesn't exist but is a mental disorder issue?

Believe me, SIL, I've TRIED to defend a fellow Transgender friend,
explaining that accepting this as a faith based identity frees anyone up
of any burden to "prove" it because a "faith based belief" is protected and doesn't require proof.
And my friend couldn't do this, but is one of the liberal thinkers that
"depends on govt" to establish what is legally recognized!!!

Definitely a political handicap.
Have some sympathy for people who don't have equal ability
to enforce their own "inalienable rights" as Constitutionalists do.
Have pity on those who rely on "9 judges on a bench in DC"
before they feel "equal as human beings."

Not everyone has what we have, Sassy.
Not everyone has a free choice or ability, but some
really do rely on govt the way Atheists rely on science to prove things before they can change their minds either!

“Shapiro’s rhetoric has the potential to threaten the emotional and mental safety of much of the campus community

Good grief what a bunch of pussified snowflakes

These are just college students seeking attention

It makes me wonder about who raised them. I know ours don't get worked up over crap like this. The world and life can be cruel...prepare your children for it. If not they'll be eaten alive by it

My kids were raised as conservatives. Believe me, they're well-versed in the fact that people are going to be assholes.

Get in our oldest faces and they'll get right back. In short their tolerant but won't be pushed around or intimidated over their beliefs

My oldest son has a lot of friends in his social circle who are leftist, mostly in that vague "It sounds good, and I haven't really thought about it much" way. They apparently spend a good amount of time talking about politics, religion, and social issues, and my son undertakes to explain and educate on the underlying issues and facts. Some of the proudest moments of my life are when he comes to me and says, "Mom, we were talking about XYZ. Can you explain it to me a little better?"

My oldest child, my daughter, is actually more aggressive than her brothers, and it's not a good idea to get into her face about anything.

I love getting texts from ours when they are in a jam and need some guidance on issues. Got one this morning over a gun control question the class was discussing, referenced Supremacy Clause and got a text back "pow!!!! right in the kisser mom!"

Lefties are afraid that not only Black Americans will leave their party but gay people and young people will too.

Pretty scary for them when you think about it.

An opposing viewpoint.

Yup an opposing view point who is a hell of a debater and has his facts straight.

Ben Shapiro is one classy, smart guy.

I like sharp people like that. The Dimwit Party does not. They like their voters dumb, uninformed, and illegal if possible.

Ben is legit smart. He can quote 1000s of passages from 100s of books. He is fairly logical and welcomes debates from the Left first and foremost. I disagree with him on several points but listen to his podcasts daily as they encapsulate the news of the day quickly and succinctly. We need more people like Ben not fewer. The fact that the idiot Left sees him as a threat shows their weak consitution and precisely what is wrong with that awful wing of the Democrat party.
