but to put almost all our attention on tits, instead of other cancers that have a higher mortality rate like say pancreatic or liver cancer is just beyond stupidity

because MANY HAVE DIED BECAUSE OF IT NOT BEING DETECTED SOON ENOUGH
its getting the attention to raise the awareness

Anyone know anyone that has DIED from breast cancer? I do. Many. Anyone know any breast cancer survivors? I do. Many...and they live with the fact that it can return at any moment.

Truly is nothing to make fun of..ie posting sexy breasts....as those sexy breasts can easily be eaten up with cancer..

im not opposed to awareness, but can we have some awareness for other cancers too?

All I ever see is awareness for breast cancer, but nothing for prostate cancer, or even rare diseases.

I lost a dear friend Jennifer (she was 32 and left her husband and 3 year old son) last summer to breast cancer, and my best friend and daughter's Godmother has it now. I pray to God EVERY DAY that they got it all, and it doesn't return like it did in my friend Jennifer.



Anything any of us can do to help find a cure for any kind of Cancer is a win-win, eh?

Safeway does have several different cancer awareness things. Including contributing net change to charity all the time when you shop there.

ANd yes, they do have prostate and lung cancer contributions as well.

I don't feel it is the customer driving thing. Breast cancer awareness folks just have better marketing campaign. Like pink kitchen gadgets and other events.
