What Is It About "Obamacare" That Is Going To "Ruin America"?

Time and time again, I hear Republican politicians saying how "Obamacare" (i.e., the Affordable Health Care Act) will "ruin the country." They hardly ever say HOW it will "ruin" our country.

So that's my question: precisely what is it about the AHCA that will ruin our country? I would like to hear from those who agree with the objecting Republicans. Tell us specifically what it is about the AHCA that is going to "ruin America."

This is what makes Obamacare so odious.

Obama wants the U.S. to be a socialist nation. But that's not the most troubling aspect of Obamacare. The most troubling thing about Obamacare is to learn that Obama DON'T Care about US.

What is so outrageous is that he would actually conspire against the people of this country to take away our control over government in such a bold and brazen UNCONSTITUTIONAL power grab.

These are the acts of a thief not a President who loves this country and our traditions and our People and the Constitution.

He is playing us the way a Used Car salesman would play a gullible rube at the car lot.

He is our adversary.

Everything about Obamacare screams this.

Government is supposed to be our servant.

Not our master.

Obama wants to be our Master.

And Obamacare was designed, from the beginning, to be about GOVERNMENT CONTROL OF THE PEOPLE.

Your gardener and your accountant and the nanny and your plumber and your doctor and your attorney all work for YOU. They act on YOUR wishes and YOU tell them what to do.

You don't expect your gardener and your accountant and the nanny and your plumber and your doctor and your attorney to conspire together to take control over your affairs.

Well, government is supposed to act on OUR wishes and do as WE direct.

What Obama et al. are doing in general and with Obamacare, specifically, is to steal control from YOU and give it to THEM.

And we are GIVING them the power to do so.

In exchange for a health care plan.

A paltry return for such a priceless gift; the liberties our predecessors fought and were wounded and died to protect and provide US, we are gladly, eagerly, offering up to Barack Obama...our would-be slave master.

We are giving up our freedom to the Government and Barack Obama and when we do we will NEVER get it back.

Ever.

You are so right, my God! What people can't seem to understand is that somebody professes to want to take care of you, provide for you, we know best, etc., it is a means of CONTROL. Like a control-freak, abusive husband (or wife, yes) who exerts total control over the spouse all the while convincing her that he will take care of her, and thus controlling every aspect of her life. That's what Obama wants to do. you can see it in his face when he talks. He's not the only one. Nancy and Harry, too. All of them. I don't WANT to be "taken care" of by the government. And what business is it of the government anyway whether I have medical insurance or not? What do they care? The answer is they don't. This is a control measure pure and simple. I don't even have a degree in law or any related subject. I actually work in the medical field. I said this was a disaster from the get go. The only people who are for it, likely as not have NEVER worked in the medical field, have no clue how it is run. this is a nightmare and God help us to get out of it.

I think theres plenty of explanations out there "George"....google....


my take is, it will drop the overall net efficiency and level of overall care, access and pricing.

Pricing is problematic now but the gov. always skews the issue, mightily. Their has been no bending of curve ala cost of care etc. for example.

there have been several polls where ion upwards of 70% of folks where satisfied and 'liked' their present care.

In short; in their attempt to deliver access/care etc. to10/20(?) million people, the level of care/access etc. will drop for the larger number, those folks that are satisfied and like their care, the new mean will meet in the middle, that 10/20 million will get care, better I assume since some is better than none (on a normal basis), but, the rest of us will see a drop off, so the overall 'mean' or level of satisfaction etc., will meet in the middle, if you were one of those in that 70%? Tough shit.


Not only will many of them be supporting the new paradigm financially, on a wing and a promise/prayer ( some of which are already being broken) that the gov. cannot possibly predict, but their care/access etc. will drop too in the short term time to come when this kicks in......

The ruin extends far beyond the health care system:

- destruction of the last vestiges of personal privacy
- replacing the Rule of Law with the Whim of the Faceless bureaucrat
- misallocation of capital for the overpayment of faux health care, resulting in less real investment, growth, and job creation

I'm not a Republican, I'm changing to a Independent because I don't trust either side anymore. I could write a book about what is wrong with Obamacare and Obama but I won't go into that. I will say if my Doctor who I know will not accept Obamacare, I will not be able to keep my Doctor. I have some great Doctors. However, I'll die before I accept Obamacare for reasons I had rather not mention. I have many health problems. So, it may be goodbye cruel world.

It is one more step in doing what the left always claims the right is doing destroying the middle class we have already seen people who were happy with their healthcare be kicked off and forced into the government exchange where they now have to get policies that include coverage many neither need or want have to pay higher premiums because of this and have higher deductibles. The rich will be able to afford this the poor will get subsidizes and as always the middle class will have to pick up the tab both sides always say the key to a strong nation is a strong and growing middle class this law does not help achieve that it hurts it.
