what is bavaria?

it seems like it's a part of germany.

Bavaria is one of the 16 Länder.

Bavaria is like Florida or California, with a Landsrat, a government.

But in Bavaria there is a special political party, affliated to CDU (Merkel's party), the CSU.

if you can, visit it, it's very nice, Munich is a nice city (with the Beer fest )
