A Tea Party Pledge and all the talk about our founding father's vision of America is totally lost on this band of white trash.

In simple terms, they're right wing Republicans having a temper tantrum because they were sent packing by We, the people and they face the harsh reality of becoming a minority in the next half century.

In historical terms, they would be called tories, redcoats and lobsterbacks by our founding fathers. Their protests are sponsored by agents OF the modern day East India Companies.

Our founding father's CREATED a government. The tea-baggers and the 'government is the problem' wingnuts are protesting AGAINST the representation our founders fought for in favor of taxation (fees or payments) without representation BY today's East India Companies...United Health Group, WellPoint, Aetna, Humana, Cigna, Health Net, Coventry Health Care, Amerigroup, Universal American, Centene...

An important milestone in the history of corporations was passed in 1600, when Queen Elizabeth of England granted a charter to the East India Company. The new company enjoyed the relatively new privilege of limited liability: investors would be liable only for the amount they invested in the company, even if total debts exceeded total investments. Limiited liability attracted much greater investment, which was the goal as England strove to create the means to establish colonies and extract wealth from the New World.

Led by the Dutch and British East India companies, corporations gained significant power to shape world trade and transport, the governance of colonies, and even the creation of new laws to benefit their interests - one reason Thomas Hobbes likened them to parasitic worms in the bowels of the body politic in his 1651 political treatise Leviathan.

By 1776, however, one host population was ready to purge its system of parasites. A series of laws, including the Townshend Acts and the Tea Act of 1773-which essentially granted the East India Company a tax-free tea monopoly in the American colonies-helped incite the colonists to revolt against England and form a new republic in which the role of corporations was significantly constrained. In the newly minted United States, state legislatures imposed tight limits on corporations' purposes, the amount of capital they could procure, even how long they could exist. As corporate law expert Robert Hinkley observes, "These restrictions ensured that there was very little corporate abuse of the public interest in this country from the American Revolution to around the time of the Civil War."

I think the Tea Party Movement has Nothing to do with Republican or Democrat.
Just people fed up with the Big Government.
I think the last Straw was the bankster bailout.
Instead of helping the American People, they stole trillions in Taxpayers money right in front of us.
I mean if Geithner and paulson came to your house and took all your money and said we need it to help the American people, then a week later you found out they used it to bail out banksters and other Criminals, plus for personal gain, would you be happy.

Ignore the Tea Party Movement, Libruls. Keep trending Leftward.

Bfgrn made the most insightful analysis in human history, you have nothing to fear.

If they were sincere, they would have formed while Bush was in office. As it is, we never heard of a tea party movement until after the McCain concession speech.

Tea baggers are only missing a hood and a burning cross. Otherwise, an argument defending their long held hatreds and paranoias could be made.

I think the Tea Party movement is pretty simple. Against politics as usual.
Democrats just happen to be the majority of the incumbents.
If the candidates who unseat them don't work for change the political climate they will too feel the pressure.

Or perhaps just finally angry enough that big spenders have been replaced by BIGGER spenders.
And a little US History you probably didn't get in school, the KKK was founded by Southern Democrats.

WSJ/NBC News Poll: Tea Party Tops Democrats and Republicans - Washington Wire - WSJ

WSJ/NBC News Poll: Tea Party Tops Democrats and Republicans

The loosely organized group made of up mostly conservative activists and independent voters that’s come to be known as the Tea Party movement currently boasts higher favorability ratings than either the Democratic or Republican Parties, according to the latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll coming out later today.

More than four in 10, 41%, of respondents said they had a very or somewhat favorable view of the Tea Party movement, while 24% said they had a somewhat or very negative view of the group. The Tea Party movement gained notoriety over the summer following a series of protests in Washington, D.C. and other cities over government spending and other U.S. economic policies.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Party, which controls both the White House and Congress, has a 35% positive rating compared with a 45% negative rating.

The Republican Party identifies closest to the Tea Party movement’s ideology, but the group has also caused splits within the GOP. Republicans currently hold a 28% favorability rating compared with a 43% negative one.

In historical terms, they would be called tories, redcoats and lobsterbacks by our founding fathers. Their protests are sponsored by agents OF the modern day East India Companies.

The East India Company was means, not an ends. The British Monarchy used the EIC as a means of suppressing the Revolution through import duties on tea. I also don't believe that the founders envisioned the creation of a massive government with a $12,000,000,000,000 debt. Therefore, protests against the expansion of government and the corruption of the government is akin to the patriots and founders, not the loyalists and the British monarchy.

And just how funny is it, the Democrats ran and elected a former "grand wizard" KKK memeber, Robert Byrd.

You're living in a naive dream world. As repugnant as the 'bail out' of our banking system was, it WAS a necessary evil. Try to image what would have happened if the government had just walked away. Every tea-baggers job, 401K and insured retirement account wouldn't have just diminished, it would have evaporated.

The paramount issue facing the voting public today is what actions will our representatives in government take to prevent this from ever happening again?

We already know the Republicans' answer. They have their Frank Luntz marching orders to grab a hammer and pound the final nail in the coffin of middle class working people in this country...KILL financial regulatory reform so the banks can do it AGAIN!

Frank Luntz Pens Memo To Kill Financial Regulatory Reform

Nine months after he penned a memo laying out the arguments for health care legislation's destruction, Republican message guru Frank Luntz has put together a playbook to help derail financial regulatory reform.

In a 17-page memo titled, "The Language of Financial Reform," Luntz urged opponents of reform to frame the final product as filled with bank bailouts, lobbyist loopholes, and additional layers of complicated government bureaucracy.

The MA election was an anomaly, like 2 feet of snow in Washington during a Global Warming trend, feel free to ignore it; the NJ and VA elections likewise. The Dems have been running really bad candidates, stinky, poopy candidates.

Hey, at least you beat the stuffings out of a Third Party Candidate in NY-23 who had 8 weeks to pull his campaign together from scratch. Well done!

The American people really love the idea of the Federal government putting $300,000 of debt per family on every household, they love Trillion dollar annual deficits and they really like Ezekiel Emanuel's Complete Lives System which will pull the plug on most of our elderly.

Don't go changing to try to please me.

Democrats schmeocrats! They were, and remain CONSERVATIVES! unless you were home 'sick' the day they discussed political philosophies versus party affiliation in school.

It takes a special brand of liar (i.e, a typical modern American liberoidal) to make the patently false claim that the tea partyers are in any way "racist." There's not a scintilla of truth in it. So, of course, assbites like Nosmo Queen simply have to keep saying it. Some liberoidals are incapable of speaking at all unless they are deliberately lying.

The dishonest term "tea-bagger" by the way is just an asshole Olberpuke-way of trying to dismiss the opposition he can't refute with logic. Properly understood, tea-baggers tend to be liberoidal Democratics, like Bawney Fwank.

It appears that somebody left one of the parrot's cage doors open...... don't you colorful fowl get tired of denigrating things you don't understand? especially given that the American Public isn't falling for this tired old tactic anymore and all that your continuous name calling accomplishes is turning more of the populace against your repugnant ideology.

You idiots were a lot more entertaining when you were bashing George W. Bush 24x7x365, at least then you had a point.
