Dodd-Frank would've been vastly different had Rs had a voice drafting it.
Yes it would have been nothing instead of a band-aid on a hemorrhage.

No it would've called for breaking up some of the large players so they weren't too large to fail, and taking Fannie & Freddie and splitting them up, and privatized them versus the government being their guardian angel. There are multiples more "too large to fail" entities than before with Dodd-Frank in effect.Both partys.

They have had no power scince 07
GWB subsidized GM for Obama
They have done nothing scince 07 but try and stop this out of control spending
We have a sitting president who claims that he is subsidizing oil companies, in public
Threatens the supreme court
Claims he inherited the 1.4 trillion dollar deficit of 2009
claimed he has created millionsof jobs scince 09
And the republican is the radical one?

And with record profits come record taxes as well as record revenue
What is a radical Republican? Probably a real conservative would be considered radical by the current crop of Republicans.
Tea Party Republicans are an interesting phenomenon, an equal combination of myopia, callousness and cowardice shaken, not stirred, by the corporate power elite.
Those with vision understand preventative maintenance is cost effective, preventative health care is cost effective and R&D, access to good educating and training is cost effective.
A simple example. A person with vision maintains their homes infrastructure, roof, gutters, drainage and the electrical and gas systems; failing to do so will become much more costly when deferred.
Historically, the "Radical Republicans" were that wing of the party after the Civil War who believed in harshly and forcibly restructuring the culture of the South to destroy the planter class forever and implement full racial equality.
Today, the phrase has fallen out of use, but could be applied to Republicans who believe at least several of the following propositions:
1) That anthropogenic global warming is a government plot;
2) That evolution is false science;
3) That America is, or should be, a Christian nation;
4) That Barack Obama is a Muslim, or is not a U.S. citizen;
5) That Social Security should be privatized;
6) That Medicare should be abolished or turned into a voucher program;
7) That we should have a flat tax, or, worse, a head tax;
8) That public schools should be abolished, or replaced with a voucher program;
9) That we should be fighting a holy war against the Muslim world.
There are probably some ideas that I've left off the list, but these will serve for illustration. All of these are radical ideas: they call for radical change, or are far outside the mainstream. A person who believes in them is a radical, and if he or she is also a Republican, then "radical Republican" is a good description.
