What If The MSM Media Supported The President?

There have been many conversations against the war, against the President, etc. There are several threads highlighting the perceived failures in Iraq. There have also been threads about the successes.

My question.

How much better off would our country be if the MSM switched their emphasis on their reporting?

How much better off would our country be if the MSM had the oppostite percentages of "bad" press and "good" press about our President and the war?


We all know it isn't going to happen. That is a no brainer.

But....what if?

Hell if they decided to call it down the middle, i think the public sentiment on the war would jump 10 points over night. If they treated it like a Democrat was in office then i say they could increase public sentiment 15 points over night. The people who dont pay attention to the news but catch 10 minutes or so from evening news would have their opinions altered based on fair reporting or biased in the other direction. Terrorists in iraq probably would have been defeated due to lack of international outcry against America and France and Germany would have surely been on board from day 1.

Different world if the MSM doesnt report their propaganda. Luckily their power isnt as strong as it was 25 years ago. If it was as it was 25 years ago, we might be looking at a whole different socialist world.

Like insein said, they don't even have to be pro-administration.

If they simply reported facts without their bias skewing their reporting, or more importantly if they reported without disproportionately emphasizing one type of story while completely ignoring another, I don't think it would be overstating it to say we all would live in a much better world.
