What if Obama/Left Wing/OWS got their laws, but the rich just said "NO" and refused?

What if the left wing, Obama and OWS got their preferred laws passed. Ones which would tax at a much higher rate the rich, and that reallocated wealth from rich individuals and companies to...well, not sure where, but just not to them.

But what if the 1%, which would be 3,000,000 Americans, simply said "NO, we will not cooperate with that." If they simply refused to pay the higher taxes. If they refused to comply with those laws. If they just said "We already pay a higher rate than others. We pay more total dollars than others. We will not comply with this."

What then? Would we "round up" 3,000,000 Americans and imprison them? We've been told thats impossible to do, since we have no way to "round up" that many people, right?

Left wingers, what would you propose we do if the rich refuse to cooperate????????

Any rich person who refused to pay taxes would of course be treated exactly the way rich people who refuse to pay their taxes are treated now. The idea that three million would risk prison sentences to do that is nonsensical; these are people with a lot to lose, and who are (mostly) in the habit of obeying the law (they get politicians to write the laws to their design, so that's generally not a problem).

By the way, it's not three million. That would be one percent of the entire population of all ages. It's more like one to one and a half million.

As correctly noted, any laws passed by Congress and not obeyed would subject the offender to punitive measures, per due process.

Otherwise a given entity could challenge the constitutionality of such measures in Federal court.

No. I'm saying what if they did?

What if Obama and a fully Dem controlled House/Senate passed a law mandating a "fair living wage" for all employees working 35 hours a week. What if they deemed that wage was, say, $60,000 a year minimum. Not min hourly wage. But only that if you work 35 hours, you get 65K.

Or, other wild OWS laws they want. Like a CEO can only earn X amount times the lowest paid employee.

Any other wild law.

What if we, the people affected, just said "Fuck that, enoughs enough. I'm not abiding by that shit."

What then? What if millions stop obeying dumb ass liberal mandates???????
