CDZ What if Islam converted 'en masse' to Christianity?

It isn't meant as endorsing Christianity, just as a possible scenario drastically different from how things are now without a terrible war.
Not in our time.
That's what we thought about Nelson Mandela being released from prison, the Berlin Wall coming down, and (again) the fate of the Soviet Union. All these 'impossible' things happened.
Religion is taken-in with mothers' milk in Islamic countries and the American Bible Belt.

Very little would change, since people citing to religion as a motivation for their actions are largely just taking whatever actions they would have taken anyway and then claiming divine inspiration.

Yeah....except no. The world has seen more peace in those countries that have been influenced by Christianity.....

Most especially if all we're talking about here is the swapping out of one of the three male dominator god religions vomitted up in the middle east.

Seeing the strange turns of history's events, the repudiation of a false religion is not beyond imagining.

You mean Ireland - where Catholics and Protestants fought for hundreds of years?

France, Germany, England and Spain? Try reading European history sometime. A thousand years of wars. All Christian nations.

WWI and WWII - all Christian nations except for Japan.

Christianity should be about peace and love, but then so should Islam, but there are always those in any religion who view the people holding different beliefs to theirs as some sort of insult they must defend themselves from.

If people no longer saw Islam as viable, but wanted to remain in a religion, Christianity is the closest.
