What has the Tea Party really accomplished?

The Tea Party is moving the country towards fiscal conservatism, smaller government, and greater personal responsibility. The next election will be won by the candidate that is the most fiscally responsible. The momentum they have is huge. This is but a smaller victory towards a much larger victory in the years to come.

Even die-hard liberal/progressives know that deficit spending is unsustainable. They know that tax increases are not going to happen either. Like it or not they will come to realize that only solution is to cut spending and shrink government. Obama lost this fight- he wanted tax increased and didn't get any. He looked weak and showed zero leadership. It created doubts, doubts that will linger...

Yes, the spending cuts (sic) are small, but they start us on the right path. I expect a lot more to come.

The 2012 elections will see major gains for Tea Party backed candidates that promise to reel in the massive spending and get us back on the right track. Incumbents that don't go along with the movement will be taken out in primaries. Any politicians not on board the fiscal conservative train will be run over by it.
