well, 80% of all people with insurance get it through work which ARE Group plans, and they are CHEAPER than individual plans....

Matt and I were in our mid to late 40's, when we first moved to Maine, neither of us were ever sick, neither took any prescriptions, neither of us smoked cigarettes, for an Individual market plan with Anthem blue cross blue shield, in 2006 when we first moved here was $2000 A MONTH....

it had NOTHING to do with our health....WE WERE HEALTHY and not taking any risks....

so, no the individual market insurance just dicked you....based on nothing.

As long as people continue to use their health insurance for every single doctor visit it is going to continue to be expensive

Normal health insurance has been effectively destroyed by federal and state promotion of employer group health insurance.

"believe they have Restless Leg"? WTF? I can guarantee I have RLS. Try getting 2 or 3 hours sleep a night for a week and see how productive and alert you are.

Didn't you know? Everyone's an Internet doctor these days, and fully qualified to determine what is and isn't a real medical problem, based on whether or not they've ever heard of it before.

Have you tried Nyquil? I know a couple of people with RLS they take Nyquil before they go to bed. No problem.

I have. It helped me sleep but felt like hell all day the next day. I'm a lightweight where meds are concerned. But I appreciate the suggestion.

Doesn't necessarily help, any more than Nyquil would necessarily help with any other pain or discomfort keeping one awake.
