Obesity and starvation are the same? I'm not very good at science but isn't starvation an acute (immediate) and fatal problem caused by the lack of food and obesity is a chronic (long term) problem caused by eating too much food?

I never heard of someone starving to death because they ate too much. I never heard of anyone becoming obese because of the lack of food.
