A little while ago, Larken Rose wrote an article titled "What 'government' does best" that starts off in the following manner:
There are two things that “government” does best:

1) Gives malicious psychos a way to drastically increase the amount of harm they can do, and;

2) Transforms regular, decent people into malicious psychos (and then drastically increases the amount of harm they can do).

Voluntaryists, like Larken and myself, believe all human interaction should be consensual and voluntary without coercion. As a result, we also believe governments are illegitimate because they inherently use coercion, or force outside of self-defense, which is never justified.

What are your thoughts on this?

Constitutional Strawman

The plutocracy established a government unaffected by the will of the majority, then praises its own private-sector tyranny as an alternative to that oligarchic republic.
