I'm not too picky. They can share.

throw out Joan Rivers and, yeah, I could live with that list...
Oh, I think she would be a hoot to hang around with for a day! I guess you have no interest in seeing this?

A Comedian

More to the point, my list:

  • Benjamin Franklin
  • Buzz Aldrin
  • Pat Tillman
  • Nikola Tesla
  • Les Claypool
  • Bruce Lee
  • G. Gordon Liddy
  • Goethe
  • Willie Nelson
  • Henry Morgan
  • Peter Steele
  • Mozart
  • Albert Pike
  • Till Lindemann
  • Louis L'amour
  • Humphrey Bogart
  • Zhou Enlai
  • Stevie Ray Vaughan
  • Some of my ancestors, both long dead and recently deceased
EDIT:

  • Sam Houston
  • Andrew Jackson

cool list... particularly Franklin, Tesla, Liddy, Goethe, Mozart...

and Stevie Ray Vaughn (who I actually spent a brief amount of time with...)
Have you ever read any of Tesla's writing? Seriously, that guy was operating on a whole other level from the rest of us mere mortals.

As to Liddy, his autobiography was a huge influence on my life. I'm not with him 100% on his politics, but what did make a tremendous impression on me was his strength of will and how he used it to confront his fears and limitations.

And yeah, I totally envy you getting to hang out with SRV. A guy I went to grad school with said his father ran a recording studio in Austin for a while, and Stevie would come in from time to time and try to pay for time in the studio with drugs. Really sucks that he finally got clean and then ended up passing away so soon after. One wonders what could have been.
