The thing is, most working class folks could not afford to buy brand new cars even during the best of economic times, let alone during the Obama Economic Depression.

During the OED, most poor working class folks simply did not have the money to afford brand new cars.

You have proof it's lowering wages? I sure am not competing for jobs with illegals. You want to know what is lowering wages? Our corporations are near monopolies. We have wage collusion. Even fast food workers often have non compete agreements. Right to work laws have hurt wages. These things have nothing to do with immigration.

Create lower paying jobs. Unions seem to be the most effective way to increase wages. Remember how republicans told us how great it would be without unions? Here we are with them in deep decline, where is the prosperity? Oh wait now they are blaming the poorest of the poor. Do you think non competes should be legal? In capitalism workers get better wages if they can move to another job for a raise. Non competes are against capitalism, just a tool for supressing wages.
