What does the Republican Party offer the Middle Class?

Romney has already said "Less Police, less firemen and less teachers".

Banks were making 6 billion a year off college loans until Obama stopped it. Romney said he wants to return to that.

USMB GOP can deny it all they want, but during the Bush years, millions of jobs were moved to China. Much of that movement paid for by Bush tax cuts. Many people were only employed because they had to train Chinese workers brought over here to learn American jobs.

So what do Republicans offer the middle class? Every time they say, "Broaden the tax base", they mean move the burden to the middle class and the poor.

When Republicans say, "The rich pay a lot now" it's because they own everything. The can buy politicians who change laws and deregulate so the illegal becomes merely unethical.

So once again, what do Republicans offer the middle class?

So tired of the name calling without any serious answer. It could be it's all they have.

25 House-Passed Jobs Bills Stuck in the Democratic-Run Senate | Speaker.gov

372 Bills That Have Been Passed by the House & Not Yet

rdean, what have the Democrats done for the Middle Class? How have the helped with Jobs? How have they helped the Economy?

Please enlighten us :eusa_whistle: -- welfare programs do not count, people want to work and have a vibrant economy, not welfare programs (well maybe a few deadbeats want more welfare programs...lol..)

The only things Democrats have done is make the poor and middle class more dependent on Government.

Knock yourself out s0n..................:D:D:D Class warfare strategies never work in the general election, which is why they are gay.:D

s0n..........the end is near. Time to start stocking up on chinstraps for your home.

The Republican party offers everyone, not just the Middle Class the opportunity to stand up and take care of yourself. If you're down and out, TEMPORARY help is available. We don't want you to stay on food stamps forever. Generational Food Stamp recipients are just slaves to the system.

We offer you the opportunity to take pride in your accomplishments and will HELP you along the way. Nope we won't do it for you, you have to do it on your own.

It's kinda weird but Harry Truman one of the most unusual politicians of all time - he spoke the truth plainly - summed up the republicans long ago and with minor change his words still fit. Now ask yourself the existential question - how in the hell does anyone vote republican?

"Republicans approve of the American farmer, but they are willing to help him go broke. They stand four-square for the American home -but not for housing. They are strong for labor - but they are stronger for restricting labor's rights. They favor minimum wage - the smaller the minimum wage the better. They endorse educational opportunity for all - but they won't spend money for teachers or for schools. They think modern medical care and hospitals are fine - for people who can afford them. They consider electrical power a great blessing - but only when the private power companies get their rake-off. They think American standard of living is a fine thing - so long as it doesn't spread to all the people. And they admire of Government of the United States so much that they would like to buy it." Harry S. Truman

"Well, I have been studying the Republican Party for over 12 years at close hand in the Capital of the United States. And by this time, I have discovered where the Republicans stand on most of the major issues." Truman Library - Public Papers of the Presidents: Harry S. Truman

Truman was wrong then and now. Keep in mind while Truman was downgrading his opposing party, they were fighting for Civil Rights. ;)

As you can see by the responses thus far, they offer nothing to the middle class.

These are the same people who believe that further tax breaks for the wealthy while increasing their own taxes will benefit them somehow.

These are the same people who blame the poor people for being moochers, yet many of them are also in fact poor (but they are somehow not moochers).

These are the same people who have some how equated handing more business to private insurance companies as socialism or government healthcare.

These are the same people who claim to be about personal responsibility but cry about requiring people who mooch of the health care system to finally pay their fair share.

These are the same people who cry about Obama increasing taxes yet can't name one that affects them.

These are the same people who claim "we are being taxed to death" yet can't name a single country in the world with a tax rate more to their liking nor a time in our own history where taxes were more appropriate.

History is something the right must have missed? "I believe in brotherhood….of all men before the law….if any (one) class or race can be permanently set apart from, or pushed down below the rest in politics and civil rights, so may any other class or race……and we say farewell to the principles on which we count our safety…….The majority of our Negro people find but cold comfort in our shanties and tenements. Surely, as free men, they are entitled to something better than this." Harry Truman and Civil Rights

Lots above for those who do not get their minds from the right wing teleprompter inserted in their heads.

4 right wing trolls later = no answer to a very valid question.

What part of incentive to work don't you understand?
As opposed to incentive to NOT work?

"Incentive" = We're pulling out your safety net.

Nope, the Dems have entirely too many "safety net"s, They have put people on the Government dole for generations, where is their pride?? Why don't many of them want to improve their lives?? Because they've been "organized" into believing government is the answer.

Slavery is not gone, it just evolved.

I just read your post twice and couldn't find anything that told us what the republicans offer the middle class.
