Israel forced EVERY JEW kicking and screaming out of Gaza and turned it over to the Pali Authority along with pledges of opening trade, assisting in seaports, airport etc..

Within 18 months there was open civil in the Gaza as well as the West Bank as Palis fought for control of PAuthority and Gaza. Hamas TOOK Gaza. The PA is no more. Hasn't been an election in over a decade and the Palis LOST all the leadership that negotiated the deal.
