What do you think of Herman Cain?

Herman Cain has some crazy-ass plan to raise taxes on the poor and cut taxes on the rich,

which probably explains whatever charm he has for the Right.

Yup. I have the same crazy ass hopes for such a plan except that Cain's 9 - 9 - 9 plan would be a flat income tax on ALL income above a reasonable threshhold, a 9% federal sales tax, and a 9% corporate tax.

I'm not favoring that sales tax as I see all sorts of possibilities for mischief there, but I would strongly support an across the board flat tax that everybody pays giving everybody a stake in the tax policy in this country. And a guaranteed 9% corporate tax would free up gazillions in investment capital.

It is insanity for half the population to have no investment in the tax policy other than voting to keep themselves off the tax rolls while those who are actually planning projects and hiring people are being threatened with more and more taxes by an Administration that is hell bent on keeping class envy alive and well for their own purposes.

I think he hates Muslims and makes crappy pizza

Anything else I need to know?

Seriously folks....

Why would anyone be impressed so much with Cains Godfather pizza success that he should be considered as President of the United States?

Godfathers is maybe the fifth largest pizza chain. He did not create a Fortune 500 company. There are hundreds of businessmen that have been more successful than Cain. Cain has never held elective office and has no political experience

If you want to pull someone from the business community to run the country......isn't there someone better than Cain?

I'm no longer a believer that one needs political experience to be a politician. It's those with lots of experience that are the most corrupt. They know enough people, they are paid the most dollars for what their big business wants... I think it's time regular people started running the whole damn country.

From what LITTLE I have read so far, I am impressed with Cain. But I have a great deal of research to do. I know who I don't want for prez, I'm not fully positive of who I would like to see in office.

Well I'm sure his meager achievements pale besides yours. But we all can't be as famous as you are.

Of course EVERYBODY knew who Barack Hussein Obama was before he gave a speech at the Demoncratic National Convention and then announced as a candidate for President.

So of course you're right. My bad.

I consider a US Senator to be more qualified than a Chairman of Godfathers Pizza

There are only 100 US Senators. But there are thousands of Businessmen with better qualifications than Herman Cain

Show me something in his resume that I should be impressed with. I am impressed with GM, GE, Microsoft, Google...even Facebook

Why should I be impressed with Godfathers Pizza?

Because Herman Cain took a troubled company and turned it around and made it profitable. That is significantly more accomplishment than ANYTHING Barack Obama could claim when he went to Washington.

And Obama was practically invisible during his brief tenure in the U.S. Senate. Obama has never held a real permanent job, has never employed anybody for anything other than to work on his campaigns or serve in his administration--and many of those folks are HIGHLY questionable--and has demonstrated that he doesn't have a clue how the monetary system and/or economy works or how the economy creates good, permanent jobs.

Nevertheless, we have had 'experienced' politicians running things for a long time and have continued to run up the national debt, increase entitlements, and allowed government to become ever more corrupt, and we have the current mess to show for it.

I can't for the life of me see why anybody would think a career politicans who knows NOTHING but politics would be preferable over a person with a track record like Herman Cain can claim.

$9.99 pizzas, who in their right mind would be against that!?

The only GOOD pizza comes from mom and pop resturants in Chicago.

If you don't have those, you just don't know what you are missing.

Pizza.... Hmmmmmmmm..

:blues:

Never been to Chicago. I've heard it's a great town.

It has its moments...

Two Words- Deep Dish.

My very first job ever was working for a mom and pop Pizza shop in 1978, run by Italian immigrants who still had the thick accents.

Government is not a for-profit business. I'll never understand why your side continually makes that correlation.

Track record of Herman Cain?

Godfathers fucking Pizza?

At least Dominos has built a pizza empire. On the board at Hallmark cards? Readers Digest? Cut me a fucking break

You want someone who has built something out of nothing? How about Mark Zuckerberg from Facebook? Oh yea.......he is too young to be President

Herman Cain is a third rate businessman

DISGUSTING!!!
