what do you collect

Still working on my music collection. 51,499 songs isn't enough.

I have that problem too! 2 closets now and closing on a third. We're talking floor to ceiling! Egads. Before my dad died, like 2 weeks, he got 12 boxes out of here. My sons helped. I think I want to get even. LOL!

No apples? Is it just me?

No apples! I missed out on all that stuff, I do think I have a pencil with an apple on the end, and maybe an apple pencil holder. Where I teach, I don't get many "teacher gifts"-the families can't afford them. I do sometimes get some cute Dollar Store figurines, I treasure those from my students.

Seriously, I have 130 ornaments with apples, my kids counted them 2 years age, got scads more since! I'm up to 18 mugs/cups with apples. Sigh. Which to recycle? The cheap or the not so cheap? Which means more?

Oh lordy.

Coffee mugs.
Swarovski Crystal
Precious Moments
Classic Pooh (Well, Eeyore)
Shoes
Purses
Jewelry
Fenton Glass Bells
Franklin Mint Wild Cat Sculptures
Swords/Daggers
Medieval Weapons

...I think that's it.

Edit: Nope. Hallmark ornaments, antique kitchen gadgets/spice racks, cookboooks, and antique bibles!

NOW I think that's it.

Graham Barker's Navel Fluff Collection

Wow. You're organized. Kate Gosselin has NOTHING on you.

The gal from Jon and Kate Plus 8? My wife loves that show. She also likes watching women have babies. Sometimes I'll come home for lunch and she's watching women birthing babies.

Actually, some guy named Graham Barker is really organized, whoever that is. He sounds like a real ladies man to me.

You know, the Duggar mom here in Arkansas is really organized.

At first glance I thought that said classic porn and eyesore.

It looks like there might be some people here who suffer from compulsive hoarding.

Hmph. Not at all. I'm quite particular in the specific items I choose for each collection. I don't just grab anything I can see...

I have a hard time saying I 'collect' more that I inherited. I'm the proud possessor of 67 pieces of Belleek. I think the first came with my grandma. Since then, well it grew by daughters and now it's mine. Running out of room in china cabinet. Stuff breaks easily. ;). Then there's my closets with books and my storage space with mugs and ornaments. Help!
