What do Communist, Socialist mean?

You seem to overlook respecting others rights.

Which doesn't surprise me.

What rights would that be? Why do some rights outweigh others? Seems like libertarians can say you only get as many rights as you can pay for. You don't respect rights, just money and power. Don't care to be under your heel, thank you. The 20th century has taught us to be wary of totalitarian philosophies.

You really don't believe in inalienable rights and Constitutional freedoms when they get in the way of your 'greater good,' do you?

Which freedoms are you talking about? I see none that are abridged in violation of the Constitution. You're going to have to be specific. You're asking a 'yes or no' question, when the answer isn't either.

How long will freedom last when government protections are nil and some of the strong start to prey on the weak, forcing them to make "agreements" for protection? Sure sounds like feudalism to me.

You communists like to reason that the only alternative to your central-planned control over people's lives is a feudal control over people's lives.

Which is why you think the Constitution is just a piece of paper.

Brainwashed loudmouth wackjob idiot.

Like I said, "leftyism" is really nothing more than a collection of slogans and epithets. LOL!

There is no point in continuing this discussion. You dont have a damn clue of what it means to be libertarian.

You have drank way too much kool-aid. Sucked to much dem tit.

I see. You were just talking shit about 'feudalism', then.

LOL

The wannabee libertarians here have no idea what the it is at all. Read above for examples.

Socialist? Communist? I often notice some of you extreme righties throw the invective, “communist” or “socialist” around. It looks like these invectives mean to you anyone to your left. If they mean something else, would one of you please explain to us what you mean by these?
So what would you prefer people to be called who believe nameless, faceless bureaucrats in far-off cities know better what you need and how to spend your money than you do?

If they're nameless and faceless, it's because we've allowed others to be their masters, instead of US. If we're to be listened to, we need to be paying the freight. SUPPORT PUBLIC FINANCING OF ELECTIONS.
Non-responsive to the question.

i.e. you don't know either. Thanks for the confirmation. Punking out when it comes to 'nuts and bolts' is a libertarian forte. They react very negatively whenever a magnifying glass is used on their philosophy. Like Marxism, it doesn't stand up to close scrutiny.

Hey blowhard.

You were going to school me on being libertarian before you cowered off. Here is your fourth chance.............

Libertarians love discussing other philosophies but can't even explain their own.

You dont have any idea what it means to be libertarian, you only know what your masters have told you.

If you wish to become serious at any point I would be happy to school you.

It was a leading question. A typical libertarian ruse, suggesting "if you don't like this, you have to be with us". It's just sloganeering. It solves no problems.

Your record is cracked and stuck on the title of the worst song on the record.

We're all libertarians. But there's a big difference between wanting to be left alone as much as possible and saying anything government does is stealing our freedoms. That sort of freedom is only possible, if you're the only inhabitant of a given area. As soon as someone else shows up, the whole dynamic changes.

There you go with another false line in the sand.

Which strongly reinforces a point.

Yeah, yeah. Little early in the day to be hitting the hootch, isn't it? Crawl back into that empty refigerator box and sleep it off.

Watch the libertarians above squirm like four year olds when trying to explain what they believe.

Funny little folk they are.

Someone wake me when these two idiots say something worth reading.

What about "steeling our freedoms" isn't a "line in the sand"? You like to say things like that with a lot less proof than I've offered. You never seem to counter anything with alternate solutions, just lame platitudes about "freedom" and ridicule of opponents. That's the trouble with "isms", long on philosophy, short on practical solutions. :eusa_boohoo:
