I think it is time to ditch the cable bill in large part because between the internet and digital channels I THINK I can watch what I want.

I am already a Netflix member and have basic Hulu and the networks favorited on the lap to I've hooked to the tv.

What are your favorite or suggestdd sites to watch shows on? New and old. Mostly I prefer to just watch instead of download. Thanks for any tips. If I can convince the family we are not missing out on $80 or so a month of tv in the next month I can dump uverse cable.

My wife and I have been rid of cable for almost a year now. I go to the "dark side of the web" to download TV shows and movies. PM me if you want the link.

You know what the best part is? I don't watch the clock anymore. "Oh it's 8:00, let's see what's on", which is usually nothing.

Hulu plus.

Star Trek TOS, Star Trek Enterprise, Firefly, Farscape, X-files, Lost, Dresden Files...

What are people favorite internet sites? Usmb is my favorite then YouTube but I wish I had other places I loved as much. Any suggestions?

I don't want games, news, porn. I don't want another message board. Not eBay not Facebook. Not Craigslist.

If you like their programming, CBS offers "All Access" for a nominal price but it's full of commercials.

HULU offers a premium commercial-free service for around $11/month.

If you like British series and documentaries then ACORN is a good bet for around $5/month.,

In some areas the local PBS channel offers "Passport" for a minimum annual donation of $60.

If you buy anything at all from Amazon a prime membership for about $100/year will get you not just free shipping but thousands of TV series and movies.

If you can put up an antenna, Amazon has a slew of vendors selling a compact outdoor antenna with a pretty powerful amplifier for prices between $27 and $48.
I have one outdoors on a 10-foot piece of EMT and another in my attic which does even better. I'm waiting for about a foot of snow on the roof to see if I can cut down to just the attic one.

Other than Freeform, I love MeTV, AntennaTV, COZI, KHSV1, and WGN
What on cozi do you love? I have that channel

They have lots of old shows I enjoy
I was just watching something earlier and I thought of you.

Right now is Rockford files. I never loved James Gardner.

Here's their schedule @ http://media.cozitv.com/documents/cozi_schedule.pdf
I have to admit I don't love their lineup but when nothing else is on I go to cozi.

Like the viginian. That's not as good as rawhide, Bonanza, wanted dead or alive but I love the old west enough it's ok when nothing else is on. What shows do you love?

Fortitude is a show on Amazon but I believe the network that produces it is Sky Network. That show is awesome but only 2 seasons to watch

And I didn't like bionic woman or man when I was a kid. Too slow. Not enough action.

And why'd they cast a woman with no breasts? I would love to see a better remake of the bionic woman like the new wonder woman
