Or some dude will be delivering mail to YOUR unemployed household at 2/3 the rate you are making now, will have to pay for most or all of his own benefits, and will have more houses to deliver to..... all for the sake of the Delivery Company that won the contract's bottom line) That way we can have 2-3 more millionaires and a shit load more people who now have shitty jobs with minimal benefits.

Because that's the Unwritten Conservative Goal. Very few owning more and more.... That's it. Furthermore, they don't care how many people they have to walk on to get MORE and MORE. There was a time where government kept them in check....Not that they still weren't wealthy... they were still incredibly wealthy. But they didn't have nearly as much power and control over our government and the country. Big Companies wouldn't squash little guys like they do now. You see, the one thing that these huge conglomerates hate is Competition.

I mean, if Conservatives can call progressives Marxists who want to turn American into the USSR of the 50's.... We should be allowed our own thoughts on the motivation of the "Conservatives" that control and run the movement, right?

Why do you think they attacked the Health Care plan until it was a weak program that actually benefited THEM? Because single payer, or at least a Public Option would have made small businesses better able to compete with the big boys. Without the worry of providing Health Care for your family, a person with talent could go anywhere and work... maybe for a startup where there is a much higher ceiling.... Partner perhaps.... or one would be more apt to start a business of their own. Can't have that now... can we? Of course, we won't say that... we'll scream Socialism, Communism and tell people that the Democrats want to kill your grandma.
