The president stopped offshore oil drilling and now Nuclear energy is in question. We dammed up every river we could find that would supply hydro-energy. What's left? Windmills? In case nobody noticed, the US is in hock to China because ....hmmm...China produces as much oil related energy as it can. What do we do about it? Pretend we are in the 2nd century and demand that someone changes the equivalent of base metal to gold? There is no substitute for oil and it ain't likely that we will see anything in the next half century. What do we do? Slide into 3rd world status and pretend we care about the environment? When is the president going to admit he was wrong? After his next jet plane golf outing?

Maybe Bill Clinton put pressure on the former community activist to do something anything that might rescue his failing administration. Why not open a portion of ANWAR to domestic drilling? Too radical for Obama's revolutionary green base?

Obama was in favor of more offshore drilling, more nuclear power plants, more nat gas exploration, more clean coal.

He's more republican than Dick Cheney when it comes to energy.

Obama hasn't got a clue. I live in Houston and the oil drillers are either hurting or have move to countries more energy friendly. I guess when Obama was orgainizing neighborhoods passing our grant money for votes and putting gas in the car purchased with the grant money along with the gas he doesn't understand that someone has to do the work to make the money, find the oil and make gasoline.
