It's no wonder that this administration hates FOX NEWS. Here is Obama's chief economic advisor Christina Romer basically stating that the 787 BILLION dollar economic stimulus bill is a BUST. In this video she states that was has been done to improve the economy in the 2nd & 3rd quarter of 2009 has been done. She expects to see little improvement into mid--2010 & after mid 2010 no improvement at all in relation to the economic stimulus bill. She expects unemployment to remain high.

Its refreshing to see one of Obama's folks actually speaking the truth instead of toeing the Obama line about the stimulus. If Romer is correct and unemployment remains high during 2010 the dems will be in for a shellacking in the mid-term elections. If they try to pass a stimulus-2 after an ineffective $787b was spent, that would be devastating as well.

I want to see the "jobs czar" actually step up and say why jobs are being lost, and what he recommends to create jobs and wealth. My recommendations are:
1) pass laws to allow off-shore drilling
2) pass laws to stop tax breaks for moving factories overseas
3) pass laws to give tax breaks for domestic job creation (aka Corporate Welfare)
4) pass laws to allow drilling in ANWR (a job is a job, a bbl a bbl)
5) pass laws to allow the quick deportation of illegals (a job is a job, unless its a Mexican job)
6) pass laws to assess other countries for the costs of their illegals here (medical, prison, deportation, legal, etc)

Well, when you say the stimulus will be done stimulating in mid 2010, I think anyone with a brain would call that a bust. BTW she is the WH's chief economist, she was appointed by Obama, he thought she was smart.

BTW it's not 2.7 million unemployed, it's more like 15 million unemployed, once you are dropped off the unemployment roles you are not counted.
