Why do people feel they are less of a person to be proven wrong? I am pretty stuborn in my beliefs but when I am proven beyond a doubt to be wrong it doesn't LESSEN me it helps me grow and learn. I just want to be debated with FACTS and either PROVE my point or be PROVEN wrong.

Thanks Pil that is exactely the type of response I was looking for. People just get so inflexible about their views that the view takes over and forces reason out.

When I am proven to be wrong I have no problem saying so.

Me too willow. I just do my best to debate HONESTLY and to cite sources that have validity. You will never see me post a link to a purely biased site.

Do a site search for the phrase "I stand corrected".

Odds are you'll find I've posted that one a few times.

That's another thing if you use a site to debate me let it be known that I WILL research the validity of that info.

    I was wrong.
    Once.
    It's when I thought I was wrong, and I wasn't.

A lot of people drive on the messageboard freeways with overinflated egos. It makes for a driving hazard.
