What these idiots always fail to realize is that the people who their nutty ideas hurt the worst are the people who can least afford it. Putting people in a position where they have to decide whether to feed their kids, or put gas in the truck to go to work is a sure fire recipe for revolt. The rich elites who dream up this sort of shit are so far removed from working people that it is little wonder that they have a "Then let them eat cake" attitude...and are not able to see the critical error in that sort of thinking.

Its too embarrassing when people revolt against Paris Accord carbon taxes at the same time when the fake news were hailing it as being widely accepted in order to make Trump look like a lone fool.

As if this revolt would have ever materialized without the fuel carbon tax hikes. Whatever Macron wants is not what the French want. They no longer want Macron even after he back-pedalled from a key Paris Accord item.
