Again, we have a Donald Trump/Russia controversy.
The intelligence community has stated that Russia did try to effect the America
electoral process in hopes of a Trump win. Trump has basically accepted that intelligence.
Yesterday, came the charges of Russia compromising Trump. Which Trump denies.
In a Trump tweet; " “Russia just said the unverified report paid for by political opponents is ‘A COMPLETE AND TOTAL FABRICATION, UTTER NONSENSE.’ Very unfair!”
And in another tweet; "“Russia has never tried to use leverage over me,” Trump said. “I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH RUSSIA - NO DEALS, NO LOANS, NO NOTHING!”
Trump cites Kremlin statement to deny reports of Russia ties, asks if ‘we are living in Nazi Germany’
However in 2008, when none of the Trump-Russia connections meant nothing, except to Trump investors, there was a different tune being sung.

"Back in 2008, Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. told investors in Moscow that the Trump Organization had trademarked the Donald Trump name in Russia and planned to build housing and hotels in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi, and to sell licenses to other developers, according to the Russian daily Kommersant.

“Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets; say in Dubai, and certainly with our project in SoHo and anywhere in New York,” Trump Jr. said at the time. “We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia. There's indeed a lot of money coming for new-builds and resale reflecting a trend in the Russian economy and, of course, the weak dollar versus the ruble."

Why does Donald Trump like Russians? Maybe because they love his condos
and also a 2008 article;
Executive Talk Executive Talk: Donald Trump Jr. bullish on Russia and few emerging markets - ...

So, which is it? In 2008 the Trumps said one thing and in 2016, they are re-writing their own history.

So, here we have it. Donald Trump Jr in 2008 is quoted as saying;
But then eight years later, we are being told, "“I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH RUSSIA - NO DEALS, NO LOANS, NO NOTHING!”
What is up with that? One or the other blatantly lied?
