Well, Trump "uniting" this country leaves a lot to be desired....

Lefties seem to have a problem with time and space. President Trump has only been in office since January 20 2017. That's about eight months and change. So what's going on? Did Barry Hussein intentionally leave office with a divisive Country? How is it possible for a republican to "unite" people who smashed windows and burned cars on inauguration day?

President Donald Trump has the lowest approval rating among voters of the opposition party since modern polling began more than six decades ago. Just 8 percent of Democrats approve of the job Trump is doing, according to extensive polling by the Pew Research Center.

Under Trump that divide has gone to far greater extremes. Republicans responding to the Pew poll gave him an 88 percent approval rating, meaning there was an 80-point gap between the two parties.

There is little sign that Trump’s base is expanding, however. In the most recent polling by Gallup, Trump’s approval rating among Democrats stands at 7 percent. Meanwhile, his number among crucial independents has shrunk to 31 percent from the 42 percent he had when he entered office. His base may be shrinking too. The president’s support among Republicans stands at 80 percent (Gallup polling.)

Trump’s approval rating is lowest among opposition party since polls began (and it’s not even close)
This is all interesting, coming from someone who willingly participates in the divisiveness and disunity that left vs right politics causes in this country.

What have you done to be a uniting force in America?

Are you even interested in bringing unity?

I found the title of the thread funny and agree with the thought. But when it turned towards the polls, I totally lost interest. They lost credibility with me back on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.

Please allow me to help with your latest anti-poll opinion......Actually, the poll were NOT that far off; you see, most polls gauge individuals' opinions and NOT the whims of the electoral college (except for a few that do address the EC)...

Given that Clinton DID win the popular vote, most polls were on target.

It's obvious everyone was united behind Obama when Trump won.

Actually, when Obama left office, his approval rating among republicans was DOUBLE what Trump is getting from democrats.....Just a point to ponder by your half brain.

Why on Earth would he want to unite with enemies of the Republic?

Cute........Bear in mind that there were THREE MILLION more voters who....as your stupidity claims.......were "enemies of the republic..."........LOL

Amognst Liberals and Progressives, not anyone else.
Of course, if Liberals and Progressives are united, you take it that the entire nation is united.

Oh hey, let's not forget you're the one calling for unity here. Nice dodge.

Look at the thread's title (or maybe ask a grown up to explain it to you)...

Nowhere am I calling for "unity"...after all, why would I want to unite with poorly educated republicans???
