For the OP - how much do the CEOs of the GSEs Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac make? How much does George Soros make? How much does Al Gore make? How much does Michael Moore make?

The Wellpoint CEO's compensation is the business of the Wellpoint board of directors and shareholders. If we are going to interfere with privately negotiated pay arrangements, then get ready for the government regulating yours to a much lower level. That's always the way. The pretext of "sticking it to the rich" always ends up bleeding out the middle class.
