“We’ll Handle North Korea”

.
The Big Orange Idiot says, “We’ll handle North Korea.”

When he says, “we,” who is the “we” he speaks of?

Big Orange certainly cannot be including himself. He can’t “handle” his staff, so he has no hope of “handling” Kim Jong-un.

Kim Jong-un was groomed by his father to be the ruthless leader of North Korea, while Big Orange is nothing more than self-promoting grifter. Big Orange is a buffoon, and there isn’t a world leader who does not know this.

The Big Orange Idiot has proven again and again he is out of his league if he tries to “handle” anyone who is more intelligent than a garden slug. This explains how he was able to “handle” those who voted for him.

No worries: Trump promises to ‘handle’ North Korea

And still he believes he can "handle" North Korea.

.
My fear is that he will one day wake up and decide he can handle N-Korea. The reason it hasn't been handled yet is that, one he has access to ICBM's and nuclear weapons and two he's backed by China. Trump handling N-Korea could quite easily escalate into something the world can't handle.
access to nuclear weapons?
List of nuclear weapons tests of North Korea - Wikipedia
Plus the platform of ICBM's. The combination of nuclear weapons and ICBM's is kind of risky to provoke don't you think.

Now make a list of America's nuclear arsenal and compare....
That will be so reassuring to the people in Alaska. At the moment you have to ask yourself the following question. Do the rewards outweigh the risk? The risk is that N-Korea is suicidal and decides to attack and will subsequently gets turned into a radioactive crater. The reward is that the US removes Kim Jung Un. Pisses of China and is saddled with another long foreign deployment without a clear exit strategy, providing Kim Jung Un decides not to go down in a big ball of glory.

There is no reduction risk by doing nothing. We've tried that and it's failed.

If we do nothing we will be held hostage by North Korea. We will eventually lose South Korea and we will still have the same nuclear threat hanging over our heads.

The longer we wait, the worse things get.

/----/ Where is Obozo when we need a president who will bow down to Un and kiss his ring?

I am amazed at the level of butt-hurt hatred oozing from the OP. Is this level of pettiness REALLY the low to which snowflakes have sunk?

The President was asked about North Korea, and he said, 'We'll handle it.' What did you expect him to say? What wpuld Barry or Hillary say differently? 'We're all screwed'?

:p

Classic Butt-hurt Syndrome strikes again...
These snowflakes are easily excitable. They get themselves worked up over the first sign of a president showing strength.

Really? What has failed? We lived under the treat of nuclear annihilation for over sixty years. The possession of nuclear weapons doesn't mean the implementation of them. If it did we wouldn't be discussing this. The possession of nuclear weapons does mean invulnerability from invasion. No sane country attacks a nuclear capable country. The reason being that even 1 weapon in retaliation causes massive loss of life. You are advocating neglecting that in order to take out a perceived treat. At the moment N-Korea has no reason to fire those weapons unless they are suicidal. Attack them and all bets are of.

Kim is a bonafide psycho. His nukes are a bargaining chip to get him to the 'adult table' ... or so he thinks.

As far as attacking him, I am more worried about the millions of South Koreans that will die within hours by the massive numbers of artillery pieces the North has pointed at Seoul. I think the nuke can be shot down / taken care of easier.

Btw why would not fighting N-Korea cause the loss of S-Korea? N-Korea knows that they can't attack S-Korea without US intervention. The same reasoning that prevents them from firing their nukes also applies to them attacking S-Korea. If they attack S-Korea Kim Jung Un would inevitably loose his power. Dictators usually don't like to be the boss of a smoldering crater.

In other words, why do you think he's psycho enough to risk his position by attacking S-Korea?

North Korea should have already been dealt with.

I'm not surprised that obama, who couldn't even enforce his own 'red line', would pass this problem onto another president. smh

Rhetoric doesn't substitute a well thought out point. I'm enjoying having an argument about geopolitics without the need to revert to partisan politics for once. Please don't ruin it because you feel you don't have anything substantive to add.

I'm glad we finally have a president smart enough to consider all options before making a sound decision that benefits everyone in the long term.

We are all doomed, you have a loose cannon vs. another loose cannon The little Korean guy that practically eats his own poor, that the Chinese always supported from 1950, or a newbie like Trump that has his finger on the button. Oh, yeah there will be blood. Sorry, what is the alternatives?

We could do what liberals want and wait until Kim drops a nuke in the US.
