Who am I? Who are you? That is what the purpose of this thread and I introduce myself as Amrchaos!! Yes, another fellow from the AOL board but please, do not confuse me with the rift raft you may see coming from there.

I am a centrists! Not a liberal. Not A conservative. And I do not care what ideological background a politician has. What I do care about is performance and the quality of the work done.

So why do I call myself amrchaos--Very simple, if the political extremes are the norms, then Americas sits in total chaos!! And as we have seen, that Chaos is growing daily. Thus I call myself after the very nature of the direction I believe our great nation is going in. Who will stop it? Do not know, but I am willing to give Dems one party rule since we already gave it to the Republicans.

Fair is only fair. So what will our favorite socialist and Terrorists, Obama, will do? I have not a clue, let us just hope he is not as bad as that evangelical Alcoholic Bush.

Oh--by the way, I will attack both Libs and cons here. Since O'Reilley has the "no spin zone" I decided to call my threads the "Total Whirlwind kick up your butt arena"

I think by now you have some idea of who I am. I am tacking left from the right as fast as I can and I do have some social liberal tendencies. Yet, I am not afraid of a McCain presidency whatsoever--I am afraid of Palin becoming president. Palin as president cause nightmares and send chills down my spine. In fact, I am convinced that the Republicans are trying to throw this election away since the GOP convention. I just have that feeling and the people that are rallying around McCain just have not figured it out yet.

Anyway, Hello again to the AOL-exiles and hello to the USmess-hall members!
Let this be the beginning of a most horrible relationship!

I suggest you go read the rules before you try making your own or you're going to find the only "Total Whirlwind Kicking your Butt" is me.

Given the mess that Obama is going to have to deal with, I frankly don't blame the Republicans for throwing away their chances this time around

Unless O is a miracle worker, one capable of dragging the Democratic Congress into the 21st century (something I strong doubt) he's not going to be able to do much about the fundamental problems facing this nation.

Tell me about

The deficit is at nose bleed levels and Banks are screwing up. The solution so far--throw money at the banks and run the deficit higher.

The sadder part to all of this is that there are many more ways to go about solving the crisis, but the focus has been to maintain the integrity of a handful of banks. Not my cup of tea--especially the part of buying stocks into them. Every a sensible investor knows not to buy stock in a company with questionable leadership.

OH well, let us see what the next few months give us.
