For the same reason the thousands of other sites that have "legal" gambling have deadlines as well. Your asking me to make sure I'm at my computer every sunday at 1pm! There's no need for me to do so if the picks are just finalized at a prior time. It's not rocket science, you have TWO choices!! LOL
