If GOP economic policy is so right; why are red states so poor?

idiotic question and perfectly 1000% liberal. Most states are purple with no obvious distinction between red and blue. A clear example is east/ west germany or USSR/USA or Red China/capitalist china.

Actually, yes, they were until very recently. The GOP only took control in those states in the past few years, with the exception of South Carolina which they won in the 90s. The Democrats still control West Virginia.

You can post all of the opinion pieces you want that happen to fit your bias, but at the end of the day people vote with their feet and there is nothing you can do to spin that one. People are leaving the midwest and northeast and heading south and west in droves. Hundreds of businesses a year are fleeing California. This is the reason why Democratic leaning states keep losing Congressional representation every Census and Republican leaning states are gaining them. None of your lies will change that. You're only fooling yourself.

They elect GOPers who in Mississippi make the bottom 20% pay twice the effective STATE/LOCAL tax rates than the 'job creators'. Instead of having the 'job creators' paying their fair share AND increasing revenues to fund things like education and safety nets that lift people up, DUMMY!!!!

dear, our education makes our kids the dumbest kids in the world and our safety net traps, cripples and impoverishes for generations so is not a safety net at all! Also Mississippi spends in proportion to its income on education I'm sure, and would get nothing from throwing money at the problem.
